Definition:
Created in February, 2000, the Private Investment Promotion Agency is a public and administrative body under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Trade and Industrial Development, in charge of Regional Integration and under the Financial supervision of the Ministry of Economy, Finance, Budget and Privatisation.
ROLE AND MISSIONS OF THE A.P.I.P.
  • ‘As the Businessmen Privileged Partner’, The Agency mission is:
    To organize outside and inside Gabon business events ( such as forums, seminars, workshop, etc…) about investment and the business environment in Gabon. To gather and diffuse all the required information to investors and businessmen.
  • To welcome, inform, advise, lead sectorial studies and strategic analyses of economic activities, to guide potential investors in their investment choice.
The Agency is also the One Stop Shop in charge of:
  • The follow-up the process of administrative formalities for the creation, modification or suspension of business activities according to the regulation in force.
  • The provision of information and help related to investment in simplifying the contact between the private sector and the state.
